Using words
In cartoons and comics, speech and thoughts are often represented in balloons (or bubbles). The style, scale and position of the balloon – and the shape, colour, and size of the written words inside the balloon – can add mood and intensity to the meaning of the words.
Add a speech or thought balloon to your self-portrait to express how you feel about your invisible disease.
